Why it exists

Plenty of people have a real question about faith and nowhere obvious to take it. They do not have a pastor. They are not ready to walk into a church. They tried searching and got arguments instead of an answer. This site is a quiet door: type the question, get a thoughtful reply, and take it from there.

How the answers are written

Every answer is generated by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, working from a carefully written pastoral brief. It is asked to listen first, to answer the actual question, to ground what it says in the New International Version of the Bible, and to be honest when sincere Christians disagree.

When an answer cites a passage, the verse text shown underneath is pulled live from API.Bible so you are reading the real words, not a paraphrase.

What it is not

It is not a pastor. It does not know you, your church, your family, or your history. It has never sat across a table from you. An AI can hand you Scripture and a place to start; it cannot pray with you, visit you, or walk with you over years. Those things come from people, and they are worth seeking out.

It is also not a counsellor, a doctor, or a lawyer. For anything clinical, legal, or medical, please bring the practical side to someone qualified.

A word about the Bible we use

Answers are grounded in the New International Version (NIV). It is a widely trusted translation that reads plainly in modern English. If your church uses a different translation, the substance will almost always line up — the wording will simply differ.
