People ask this site things they have not told anyone. Here is exactly what happens to them.

Last updated 4 September 2026.

What we collect

  • The question you type. It is sent to our server and on to Anthropic’s Claude API so an answer can be written.
  • Your IP address, held briefly in server memory to limit how many questions one visitor can send per minute. It is not written to disk and it is not linked to your question.

There are no accounts on this site yet, so we do not hold a name, an email address, or a history of what you have asked. We do not run advertising or third-party trackers.

What we do not do

  • We do not store your questions or answers in a database.
  • We do not sell, share, or trade anything you type.
  • We do not attempt to identify you.

Who else sees your question

Two services are involved in producing an answer. Anthropic processes your question to generate the reply, under their API terms and data policies. API.Bible supplies the NIV text of any verse an answer cites; it receives only the reference, never your question.

The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers handle the request in transit and keep standard operational logs.

A practical caution

Because answers appear in your browser, anyone with access to your device or browser history may be able to see the page you were on. If you are asking about something you need kept private, use a private browsing window and close it when you are done.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes — for example when accounts and saved questions are added — the date above will change with it. Questions about any of this can go to hello@versedaily.ca.
